What is Fin-Veda?
Veda in Sanskrit means knowledge or wisdom. Fin-Veda has been created to help imbibe the knowledge of Finance and effectively translate it in the business world.
Business is all about serving the society at large and with the ultimate objective of making money, but legitimately and rightfully, on a sustained basis through the future. Being custodians of wealth, it is the responsibility of the finance fraternity to preserve and promote worth of business while serving the society.
FIN-VEDA is an initiative to mentor the finance professionals in their career journey and channelize the business leaders towards embedding a strong financial culture in the organization, thereby reinforcing the foundation for a steadfast healthy business in the continuously emerging world.

From a shy, middle-class boy in Kolkata to a seasoned CFO of top corporates, my 40-year journey has been anything but ordinary. I battled early academic setbacks, family crises, corporate restructures, and high-pressure roles across industries and geographies. Yet, every challenge became a stepping stone.
My career spans strategic finance, M&A, ERP rollouts, digital transformation, and people leadership across leading companies like GSK, Dabur, Carrier, and Orient Electric. I’ve restructured treasury systems, turned around balance sheets, led large-scale integrations, and inspired cross-functional excellence.
What shaped me most wasn't just boardrooms and numbers—it was the people. From night shifts at plants to grassroots field visits, I learned that real business happens on the ground. My creative roots in painting and theatre helped me think
differently, build empathy, and drive innovation in finance.

Yes, if you're 1–2 levels below CFO/Head of Finance with 10–20 years of experience and facing career growth challenges, you're eligible.
Q: Will I be getting continuous mentoring during my career journey?
Yes, after completing the course, you can opt for one-on-one paid mentoring sessions if needed. However, the goal is to help you become self-sufficient through the leadership tools and strategies you’ll gain.
Q: Are the session timings flexible?
No, the sessions are fixed to ensure consistency for all participants—every Friday from 8:00–9:30 PM, with bootcamps on Saturdays (once every 4 weeks) from 10:00 AM–5:00 PM.
Q: Is placement or job change support available?
Fin-Veda does not directly offer placement services or recruitment partnerships. However, through one-on-one mentoring sessions, I can provide personalized guidance on job selection, role fitment, and career transitions. Please note that outcomes depend on individual efforts and the evolving business environment.
Q: Can I pay the fees in instalments?
You can pay in two instalments, but 100% payment must be made before commencement of the program.
Q: What if I miss one session due to work priorities ?
Live attendance is highly recommended for best results. However, if unavoidable, limited-time access to the session’s video recording will be provided.
Q: How will I be able to know that I am improving or whether the results are coming to me ?
You’ll notice positive changes through feedback, behavior shifts, and recognition at work. Visible results will reflect your actions and commitment to the program.
Q: Is there a refund if the program doesn’t work for me?
No, there is no refund policy. The program’s success depends on your active participation and implementation of the guided action plan, which will be monitored throughout.
Q: Can I get directly into one-on-one mentoring with you?
No. The Elite Strategic Finance Guide is designed as a foundational program to address and resolve career bottlenecks. After completing this comprehensive course, if you encounter unforeseen challenges, you can opt for personalized one-on-one mentoring sessions with me on a paid-per-session basis.
